RESUME

I have worked with several IT directors over the years; it can be very difficult getting someone with both the level of technical expertise to inspire the confidence of IT staff and the educational background to work effectively with teachers. Sam not only had this, but combined deep technical ability with first rate people skills. Something I do not take for granted.

Nick Little - Head of School

International School of Aberdine

He has a gift for seeing patterns and opportunities for new service offerings across the market, and an attention to detail, such as project timelines in new user implementations. His intimate knowledge of each customer account and personnel was uncanny, along with his ability to synthesize new information and recall details on demand.

Francis LaChapelle, Vice President

Alaska

His friendly manner made me feel at ease with new technologies that were intimidating previously. Sam explained things in ways that did not make me feel stupid for my ignorance, but rather came side- by-side as a colleague and contributor for my current knowledge.

Roxanne Mourant, State of Alaska

Alaska

Sam was a hard-working self-starter who understood the roles and responsibilities of a leader; one who strove toward establishing meaningful understanding and implementation of policies, procedures, and sound leadership principles and standards; and one who acknowledged the importance of building positive relationships among entire learning communities in order to promote self-worth and success not only as it related to individuals, but as it related to comprehensive organizational climate, as well. Furthermore, his belief in setting high expectations for himself and others was evident in the way Sam conducted himself personally and professionally within the school district and in the state of Alaska.

Alex Russin, Superintendent

Alaska

I would consider Samuel Bourgeois in the top one percent in the nation as a teacher. He is the best I have seen in the twenty four years of being in education.

Jack Foster, Superintendent

Oklahoma
